There’s no such thing as the perfect parent but with the right toolkit parents can make family life the happy, nurturing and supportive environment they want.

Throughout this course, we will support and empower you, offering practical solutions and tools to help give your children the gift of a happy childhood and a bright future.

The course will provide you with a framework, skills and tools that can be used both as a holistic approach to parenting in day to day life and as a way to deal with any particular situation that arises with your children.

Autumn 2026 courses

Lunchtime and evening options to suit your schedule

Evening course - starts Tuesday 22 September 2026 at 8pm

  • 6 x 90 minute live online sessions

  • Sessions covering core course content and time for Q&A

  • Live sessions: 8 - 9:30pm from 22 September. Continue every week until 10 November (with two week break for half term w/c 19 & 26 October)

Lunchtime course - starts Friday 25 September 2026 at 12pm

  • 6 x 75 minute live online sessions

  • 60 minutes on core course content including some time for Q&A. Additional Q&A at the end of the session for those able to stay until 1:15pm.

  • 1 x 30 minute 1:1 follow up coaching session with Mary. To answer questions specific to your family or support you in applying skills learnt

  • Live sessions: 12 - 1:15pm from 25 September. Continue every week until 13 November (with two week break for half term w/c 19 & 26 October)

Recordings of live sessions will be available if you cannot attend a session in person

Course materials

Course materials are designed to support you before and between the live sessions on the course. They include a detailed Parent Manual with a chapter for each module of the course, videos and weekly “Missions” to help you start putting skills into practice.

You will have access to these course materials as soon as you book your place on the course and for three months from the start date of the course.

You will also receive an email after each live session with further information and prompts to help you start taking action with the skills covered.

The Parent Practice Licensees 

Prior to 2021, we ran a Train the Trainer programme and granted Licensees to parenting practitioners to deliver The Parent Practice Methodology. Wherever you see this logo, you can be assured of parenting coaches delivering The Parent Practice flagship parenting course.
