Harmony at Home is for you if:
You have reached the end of your tether and feel there must be an easier way to parent.
Parenting is going pretty smoothly but you would like to intentionally use research backed strategies to set your children up for future success and be the parent you want to be.
You would like to feel empowered with a set of skills to deal with whatever challenges arise with your children (which means you can stop repeatedly Googling “What should I do when my child…” every time a new issue arises).
As a parent, you would like to:
Stay calm and react appropriately in the face of 'button-pushing' behaviour.
Become an authoritative, not over-controlling, parent and be in charge positively, firmly and consistently.
Stop using threats and punishment and replace with positive discipline and problem-solving.
Be able to respond constructively to unwanted behaviours, teaching your child to take responsibility and learn from their mistakes without damaging their self-esteem.
Make family hot spots a thing of the past - whether that’s homework horrors, morning madness, bedtime battles or screen-time struggles.
Ensure family life reflects your values and supports your children to take these values on.
Understand more about your child, their temperament and what’s causing their behaviour and - crucially - approaches that will be effective with them.
Strengthen your child's self-esteem and raise an emotionally intelligent child.
Set your children up for success at home, school and future life, increasing their skills, independence and confidence.
Have more harmony at home, with a child who is confident and contented.
